Join us at MAYA Collection for Mahjong 101!Mahjong 101 is the perfect intro workshop for anyone curious about this classic tile-based game. In a relaxed, beginner-friendly setting, you’ll learn the basic rules, how to set up the game, recognize the different tiles, and start building winning hands. Whether you’re completely new or just need a refresher, this workshop will get you ready to play and enjoy Mahjong with confidence. No experience necessary—just bring your curiosity and a love for games!The purchase of each ticket includes a zippered bag made by our talented artisans which can be used for your Mahjong accessories!Charcuterie refreshments and non alcoholic beverages provided. Please feel free to BYOB!Attending this class directly supports the Maya Collection. We are a faith based non-profit with the mission to empower and equip local refugee women and teens through mentoring, discipling and teaching artisan skills to help them flourish in our community.At the end of the class, you'll have the option to shop the Maya Collection - an assortment of beautiful, hand-crafted goods created by our artisans!
