About Chinese American Bear

Chinese American Bear is a quirky, lighthearted, retro mando pop-rock duo from Seattle creating eclectic & fun Chinese/English music - one of the few bands in the US doing so.

Composed of married couple Bryce Barsten and Lingbo Anne Tong, the couple creates groovy, and “not too serious, food loving” tunes in their home studio together. They’ve been described as the wholesome child of Dusty Springfield, Flaming Lips, and Care Bears. The duo takes pride in their quirky and energetic live show, which features live dancing dumplings, bears, and other costumed performers.

Their songs have been streamed over 1MM times, and they’ve been praised by BBC Radio DJs, KEXP DJ’s, featured in VOGUE+ (China), and included in a number of Spotify’s Editorial Playlists.

About Hockey Teeth

Hockey Teeth combines the high energy of a modern rock live performance with the catchy melodies of traditional mid-60s pop.

The band formed in Bellingham, WA in 2019 and when on to win Western Washington University's 2020 Sounds of the Underground battle of the bands (it was only their third show!). They have since relocated to Seattle and released their second EP in 2023. Their fresh take on the classic power pop genre has earned them comparisons to Hippo Campus, Phoenix, and Elvis Costello.
