Magic for Shady

Meet Shady!

Shady is a distinguished, beautiful Russian Blue mix kitty with soft grey fur, soulful green eyes, and two little vampire teeth that peek out. He was adopted as a kitten and had a loving home for years, until he lost the only family he had known. Shady’s life changed completely, but he is still a sweet, gentle kitty who loves everyone he meets.

When Shady came to Whisker Mission, we set out to prepare this lovely, affectionate boy for a new forever home. That was when we discovered Shady had hyperthyroidism. To give him the long, healthy life he so deeply deserves, he recently underwent a specialized treatment to completely cure his condition. It is currently still in progress, and every step has been going well! Shady has shown us how resilient he is, but his curative care has been an expensive adventure.

Magic for Shady

Shady’s journey to health has been a small miracle, from finding his way to Whisker Mission, to the clinic cancellation that made an opening available for him to begin treatment. We want to support Shady with an event that matches the miracle of his recovery!

Magic reminds us that anything is possible, and is the perfect way to rally our community! By bringing people together for wonder, mystery and laughter, we can create a little magic of our own: clearing Shady’s medical debt and giving this gentle soul the bright future he deserves.
