Are there public safety requirements due to the Covid-19 pandemic?
As of April 1, 2022, The DC Mayor's Office, The Mayflower Hotel, and DC Theater community have no specific safety mandates or requirements. We are committed to the safety and health of our staff and audiences and will adopt future mandates and requirements should they arise.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
The comedy in The Magic Duel has a topical and political slant which makes it great for adults and uninteresting to most people under 18 years old. To maintain the atmosphere of The Mayflower and the show, we suggest an upscale dress code and that no one under 15 years old attends.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
The best option is the Farragut North Metro station, one block south of the hotel. Metered street parking is very limited, but the best choice is the PMI Parking Garage at 1725 Desales St. NW. across Desales from the hotel. You can usually get a discount there or other nearby garages using the SpotHero app.

What's the refund policy?
If you cannot make the show for which you hold tickets, please contact us before your ticketed show and we can also transfer your tickets to another performance date. Refunds are available up to 72 hours prior to the show. We understand that emergencies happen so partial refunds will be considered past the refund deadline.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, on your phone is fine.
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Yes. You can do this yourself through Eventbrite or contact us to help you with the process.
What can I bring into the event?
Drinks are available at Edgar, the lobby bar in the Mayflower. You may bring them into the show.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Yes, whoever checks in can simply give the name of the person who purchased the tickets on Eventbrite.
