MADE Classroom: Perspective Drawing

The Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment is a 501c(3) nonprofit aimed at expanding access to our digital heritage and celebrating the diversity of its contributors. We do this by preserving digital entertainment, restoring its playability, educating about its creation, and using it to engage the community.

Learn how to draw objects that pop out of the page--on paper and then on a computer! For ages 8 to 13.

The Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment

<p>In this class, students will develop their geometric intuition through hands on activities, using computers and technical examples to reinforce concepts as necessary.</p><p>Students will learn</p><ul><li>How to draw with one point perspective</li><li>How to visualize objects converging to vanishing points</li><li>How early 3D video games use raycasting to simulate perspective</li></ul>
