MADE Classroom: Computer Graphics 101

The Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment is a 501c(3) nonprofit aimed at expanding access to our digital heritage and celebrating the diversity of its contributors. We do this by preserving digital entertainment, restoring its playability, educating about its creation, and using it to engage the community.

How do you make a computer draw pictures? Our teachers walk through how programmers create pictures with math and code!

The Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment

For ages 8 to 13.In this class, students will develop their geometric intuition as it relates to homogeneous coordinates and their relationship to camera projection. Students will learn<ul><li>How to draw with one point perspective</li><li>How to visualize objects converging to vanishing points</li><li>How early 3D video games use raycasting to simulate perspective</li></ul>
