For ages 8 to 13.

In this 1.5 hour class, students will learn the fundamentals of character design, specifically how it relates to making iconic video game characters. It will start off with a small lecture section followed by application and end with access to the entire museum. More specifically, students will learn:

  • What character design is
  • General principles for designing characters

Silhouette
Colors
Movement
Exaggeration
  • Breaking the rules to make characters even more unique
