Macro Photo Walk at the Cranbrook Gardens with OM System

We're very excited to meet up with you for this very special opportunity to take photos in the gardens! It's a fantastic spot for photography, and if you've never been there, you'll be impressed by the beautiful gardens and historical architechture. You can learn more about it here.

Please be mindful that we have been given special permission to host this photowalk in the gardens. Spots are limited–this will be a small group of 13. Please register only if you are committed to attending this event.

10:30AM: Meet in the Parking Lot: Pickup loaner gear & discuss macro tips & tricks!

11AM-12PM: Photo walk through the Sunken Garden & Native Plant/Wildflower Garden.

Loaner Gear

OM System will have a variety of gear to loan! They have some of the best macro equipment on the market and you'll love the incredible images you can make with their macro lenses. For those of you who own OM Systems cameras or plan on borrowing one, give us a call at the shop to inquire about cameras & macro lenses we may be able to bring for you to borrow! 248-642-1985

Does this Event Cost Anything?

No, free parking is available immediately outside of the gardens.

Is this a Private Event?

No. We will be walking the grounds with the public so it is important to let people have space and pass by you. We have been granted special permission by the gardens and have agreed to be mindful of the Garden's Photography policies.

House & Garden Photography Rules

This is a special event for plant photography only. Please keep in mind that tripods, lighting gear, and other camera equipment is not permitted at the Cranbrook House & Gardens. The Cranbrook Estate rules can be found here. Photos taken at Cranbrook are intended for personal purposes only and may not be sold or used for publication or other commercial purposes. Only nature photography is permitted during this walk. Guests interested in taking portrait photos at Cranbrook Gardens must book a Portrait Photo session through their website.
