Macrame Workshop

WORKSHOP:

Invigorate your creativity in this season of change and learn two fiber arts that go together; macrame wall hangings, and decorative macrame leaves and feathers. Join us and bring life and warmth to your home decor.

A colorful variety of fall, winter and natural rope and yarn to choose from -

Wooden Dowel (driftwood available for an extra fee, or bring your own)

1 hour instruction on how to make a macrame wall hanging (12”-16”wide,18”-24”long)

1 hour instruction of how to make macrame feathers and leaves (3 each)

Take home beginners guide on macrame knotting

ABOUT THE MAKER:

Robin Lebowe of Modern Knots, a costumer in her other real life, fell into fiber arts during a series of informal weekend workshops with other artists and friends. She started knotting and never stopped; weaving art gallery pieces, creating custom in-home installations, and selling boutique pieces.

Robin is currently teaching one workshop a month and selling at pop ups and retail stores in the LA area.
