Macrame Wallhanging Workshop

Jo Abellera is the designer and maker of KKIBO, a line of artisanal clothing, macrame market bags, macrame wallhangings and homewares.Her work is sold in stores in the US, Europe and Japan; and she also shows her work at the Echo Park Craft Fair in Los Angeles and Mercado Sagrado in Malibu Canyon, California. <P>In this 3 hour workshop, you will learn the basics knots of macrame to design and create your own macrame wallhanging, macrame market bag or planter. We will be working with cotton rope, jute, driftwood collected from the Pacific Ocean, raw alpaca fleece, and clay beads. No previous experience is necessary; all levels welcome!</P>
