Learn to make Italian macarons from scratch in a technical, hands-on class that’s all about precision and flavor
Learn just how fun and surprisingly simple it can be to make beautiful Italian macarons from scratch. This beginner-friendly class is the perfect way to dive into the world of meringue-based baking.
You will learn:
• How to make smooth, airy Italian macaron shells
• How to troubleshoot common macaron mishaps like cracking, hollow shells, or uneven feet
Students will work in small groups of up to 4 for a hands-on, collaborative experience that’s equal parts educational and sweet.
NY Cake Academy classes are held in our Manhattan flagship at 118 W 22nd St. All supplies and materials included, but if you require any special accomodations please don't hesitate to contact us at custom@nycakeacademy.com. Our classes are hands-on, interactive experiences. So, please dress accordingly. We recommend wearing casual clothing that you won’t mind getting a little sugar on, and flat comfortable shoes. Open toed shoes and sandals are not recommended as this is a safety concern when working within a kitchen. Long hair should be tied back.

NY Cake Academy Classes are not eligible for refunds, however classes are transferrable.
All Bookings receive a confirmation immediately after booking. Please notify custom@nycakeacadeny.com if you do not receive a confirmation email. Students are responsible to ensure they receive and read their confirmation email. All supplies are included unless stated in the class description.
If you would like to change a class date, you may do so by emailing custom@nycakeacademy.com 48 hours in advance. Please be sure to include the full name of the registered student, class confirmation number and class you wish to transfer into. If we do not receive an email from you stating you cannot make the class, your payment is forfeited. There is a 1 time courtesy makeup of a missed class. Please be sure you can make the new date and time before requesting a switch. If you do not show up to your makeup class, your tuition is forfeited.
If a class is canceled due to low enrollment, inclement weather or another circumstance beyond our control (power outage, facility issues, etc), we will contact you with as much advance notice as possible by email or telephone and issue you a refund to the original form of payment.
We will make every effort to run the class as long as it is safe to do so. If we make the decision to run the class and you decide not to come, you will not be able to get a refund, but we will offer you a credit for future use valid for 1 year.
