Join the Polsky Center’s Visiting Investor, Kim Vender Moffat, for a lunch-n-learn focused on the private equity industry.

Kim Vender Moffat has spent the majority of the past two decades in private equity. Most recently, she was a partner at Sterling Partners, a small-middle market firm based in Chicago. At Sterling, Kim invested and managed healthcare and education services companies and was a member of the Firm's investment committee. She served on the boards of several portfolio companies including: KeyPath Education, School of Rock, Surgical Solutions and Platinum Dermatology. During part of her time at Sterling, she led Investor Relations, quarterbacking fundraises in excess of $1B, as well as oversaw the Business Development and Firm Strategy functions.

She graduated with an A.B. from Harvard College and received a J.D. from Northwestern School of Law and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management. Kim worked at McKinsey & Co. as a management consultant after graduate school prior to returning to Sterling. She is on several civic boards, including A Better Chicago and The Chicago Botanic Garden. She and her family live in Chicago.



Lunch will be provided and the session will start promptly at 12:00pm, so please arrive early to grab food and find your seat.
