ARcare and the Arkansas Family Health Foundation supports wellness for all Arkansans, no matter who they are and what opportunities or lack of opportunities they have faced thus far in life. Wellness takes many forms, and ourfoundation strives to promote community support in the areas of education, economic development, medical health and transportation. This event will specifically focus on wellness as it relates to the topic of drug addiction which affects us all.
On June 13th, 2019, ARcare will be hosting our second Opioid Awareness program at the Rialto Theater in Searcy, AR. This year’s event will be a Lunch ‘n’ Learn event, from noon until 1:00 PM, with proceeds going to the Arkansas Family Health Foundation with the intention to make a positive impact on the Opioid Epidemic in White County. 
This event will be a casual, one-hour event providing a free box lunch for attendees while we watch a couple short videos on the BIG screen. One of the video’s will be a portion of KTHV11 morning anchor, Laura Monteverdi’s newest documentary, “Saving a Generation: Out for Life” and Jimmy McGill from the department of health and human services will give a brief talk.
