Wednesdays 11AM- 12PM: Collaborative Style Learning; Holiday edition. Come and collaborate with Professionals for monthly insight and learning on various topics related to psychotherapy. You will be invited to consider your own caseload in the context of monthly topics. Participation is encouraged!
Let's talk about the forces of our society: media culture, family expectations, school, work. How do they set our clients up (either for success or for failure in meeting their personal mental health goals)? We will discuss benefits and risks of social media and how to engage with healthy boundaries.
Objectives
- Gain insight on psychotherapy clients and client presentation as it relates to monthly topic.
- Build relationships with other professionals by sharing experiences and insight
- Gain skills and new approaches based on monthly topic.
Presenter
Angie Kuffel is a licensed professional counselor in the State of Wisconsin and the Intern and Clinical Supervisor for Professional Services Group, Inc. She received her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and Counseling Education from the University of Colorado- Denver. As a previous teacher, Angie has since sought out opportunities to find effective, creative ways to continue to support children and adolescents (and their caregivers and teachers) through School Based Individual Therapy.
Professional Services Group has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7066. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Professional Services Group is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
