According to the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network (RAINN), every 68 seconds, there is a sexual assault in the United States. A Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) is a registered nurse who completed additional education and training to provide comprehensive health care to survivors of sexual assault.

Herzing University Minneapolis is partnering with the Minnesota Chapter of Forensic Nurses to offer Lunch and Learn with a SANE Nurse on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 12:00 PM CT. They will provide information on what a SANE nurse is, what they do and how SANE nurses help the community.

This event is open to all interested nursing students and the community. Lunch will be provided for all in-person attendees. Are you unable to join in person? The event will be available to view on Zoom- tune in virtually!
