About this event

What is Trust?

Trust is defined as assured reliance on the character, ability, strength, or truth of someone or something.

During this session we will explore:

  • What being a trustworthy leader is about?
  • How leaders can create a culture of trust
  • Learn the Building Trust framework
  • Develop an action plan to engage in more trust-building behaviors
  • Learn a three-step process for rebuilding trust
  • Plan and practice two trust-building conversations

After the workshop, participants will understand the impact of their behavior on building or eroding trust with others.

With Building Trust, an increased sense of partnership is gained and a positive workplace is restored so employees and the city can thrive. Don’t allow trust issues to poison your department’s culture or hinder your staff’s growth. Help create a trusting work environment where your staff feel safe, empowered, and motivated.

“You bring your lunch and we will provide the learning (lunch is NOT provided).”
