Lunar Light

The UWM Manfred Olson Planetarium is located in the Physics building on the UW-Milwaukee campus. With over 14,000 visitors annually, we offer something for everybody to enjoy astronomy. Our Friday Night Shows, special events, and outdoor stargazing are open to the public. We also book private programs for birthday parties, schools, scouts, and more.

<p>Busy on weeknights? Our specially offered matinee program sheds light on our closest cosmic neighbor, the Moon. Celebrate 50 years of lunar exploration as we explore topics including lunar eclipses, phases, tides and the future of humans on the Moon. This program is appropriate for all ages and includes an indoor stargazing session of the Milwaukee sky free of light pollution. Tickets are $6.</p>
