Susan is exciting to be collaborating with Midwest Photo and Nanlite for this unique experience!
In this 3 hour hands-on workshop, Susan will reveal how to turn ordinary darkness into a luminous canvas using simple tools like flashlights, LED wands, and handmade modifiers. She’ll share behind-the-scenes tips on how she crafts surreal, eye-catching portraits with light, and demonstrate live how you can do it too—no studio or fancy gear required.

This workshop will be hosted at the Sycamore Studio to practice conducting Light Painting in a studio space, using controlled lighting to create epic light painted portraits!

After getting her start as a photojournalist, Susan transitioned her skill for capturing moments into shooting events and portraits. As an award-winning photographer with over 20 years of experience, Susan is a respected educator in the industry and now shares her innovative techniques and globally-cultivated perspective on her Photo Adventures.
