LumberJack Night, originally planned for Friday, November 21st, has been rescheduled for Saturday, Febraury 28th due to illness among our volunteers and scheduling conflicts. Thank you for your understanding and flexibilty! We're looking forward to seeing everyone on our new date!
Lumberjack Night is a family friendly event for the community featuring a full flapjack dinner complete with pancake topping bar, smokey links, fruits, etc.
Plan to wear flannel as our photobooth will be rocking with authentic props, fake beards, and more!
Games to include a log saw competition (for ages 12 and up) with handsaw (gloves and eye protection required); ax throwing (fake axes made of plastic and foam); and hammer relay (in which teams compete to hammer their nail first).
Additionally, our own variety of an egg toss, termed "flapjack fling" will feature throwing pancakes to and from frying pans. All these games and more will have prizes for the fastest, strongest and most lumberjack-ish of us all!
Log slice necklace/ornament craft for all ages will allow everyone to make a souvinir from the evening's festivities.
