Intersection is a flexible contemporary music ensemble dedicated to challenging the traditional concert experience, exploring music of the 20thand 21stcenturies, supporting living composers, presenting programs for younger audiences, embracing collaboration, technology and the avant-garde, while expanding, respecting and embracing the musical and cultural diversity of Nashville.

W O Smith Music School

As a partner in the Lullaby Project, a program of Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute (WMI), Intersection works with Renewal House, the Tennessee Justice Center and the Hispanic Family Foundation to write original lullabies with Tennessee families. Join us on Friday, May 12th at the W.O Smith Community Music School for our first public sharing of select lullabies written since the beginning of our project.
