OUR MISSIONTo foster supportive community and private sector relationships to service the interests of the residents of Lawrence Township.ORGANIZATION HISTORYThe Lawrence Township Community Foundation (LTCF) was founded in 2002, when Pam Mount, Eleanor Horne of Educational Testing Service (ETS) and Becky Taylor of Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) realized that the needs of the residents of Lawrence Township could be served by a community foundation. ETS and BMS committed their support along with Dan Haggerty (Stark & Stark) and Conrad Druker (The Mercadien Group) and the LTCF was formed.The LTCF is dedicated to supporting local non-profits that provide critical assistance to local residents in need, as well as funding programs that foster and enrich all the residents of the community through education, music and the arts. Over the years, we have created relationships with local charities making sure that the grant dollars invested provide the highest rate of return back to our community.Recognizing the importance of connecting with the residents of Lawrence to help identify their needs, the LTCF hosts an annual Community Conversation which brings together residents from all the neighborhoods in Lawrence for a township-wide meeting. In the past few years, it has become more and more difficult for Lawrence Township residents to feel connected to local news.  This year's LTCF Community Conversation will bring together residents from all neighborhoods in Lawrence for a township-wide meeting to discuss this important issue.
The event will address the challenges groups and individuals face in communicating information about programs, services and events to the people of Lawrence Township.  Residents are encouraged to discuss how they currently receive their local news and would like to do so in the future. 
A group of local communicators will discuss how their organizations deliver local news and the challenges they face. Opening remarks from the speakers will be followed by multiple small table discussions each focusing on the variety of options to enhance communication in Lawrence Township. The groups will discuss ideas and brainstorm methods to implement positive changes in the community. By the end of the evening a variety of actionable ideas that the participants have developed and are interested in pursuing will be summarized and next steps explored.

A light dinner will be supplied by Education Testing Service (ETS).
Representatives for nonprofits, civic groups, local businesses and interested residents are encouraged to attend this free event. Online Registration is requested via Eventbrite.
