Organized by

Foraging instructor and fungi-farmer based in Sheffield. 20 years of foraging experience that began when I used to take my child to local woodlands and riversides to pick blackberries and started jam-making. I then began to study fungi and wild plants, their edibility and medicinal uses, putting many long years into learning the local species and their habits.

More recently I've taken up mushroom farming, brewing wines and meads, producing cordials and wild gin crafting! I began as self-taught but I've since learned from some of the best in the country as part of the wider foraging community.

There are so many benefits to learning to forage in an eco-friendly and sustainable way, whether it's for physical and mental health improvements, learning new skills, understanding the environment and habitats around you or just getting out into nature! If you're starting your journey or want to expand your knowledge base, I am here to help and am available for public or private events, courses and advice, plus local sales of mushroom grow-kits. So please feel free to contact me at Shonys Mushrooms on FB or email to siobhan.louise.omalley@gmail.com
