About this event

Lowe Brau is back for our first show of 2024! We felt so bad for having to cancel January that we booked an extra special lineup for our February show. In addition to our hilarious lineup featuring some of the country's best comics, we've got a killer two piece jazz band to open the show and keep the funky vibes going all night. And, as always, your trusty hosts Matt Curry and Zack Vile.

When? Thursday 4/25. Where? at Mt. Lowe Brewing Co in Arcadia. What? A free night of standup comedy! Why? 'Cause you're a cool person who likes to laugh and get out of the house and support the arts over a delicious brew.

We'll also be joined by a top notch food truck (yet to be named) and of course a wide selection of the best beer around! Get there early and grab a good seat. Show starts at 7:00. See you there!

Hormoz was born in Iran & grew up in California. He wasted his time obtaining a B.A. in Poli Sci at UC Berkeley and after spending a couple years in Washington DC he quit his job and moved to New York to be a stand up comic. They say if you can make it in New York you can make it anywhere. Well after a couple of years Hormoz moved to Los Angeles where he now performs stand-up in front of dozens of people, writes funny stuff and makes his family very proud.

In all seriousness, Hormoz is a hilarious staple of the LA comedy scene and is a Paid Regular at the World Famous Comedy Store. We're lucky to have him at our little brewery show.

Jordan Thewlis recently moved from the Bay Area where he started comedy to Los Angeles where he started life. While attending college in Santa Cruz, Jordan found a love for standup and writing and has established himself as a prominent figure in the Bay Area comedy scene. He works as a Daily Contributor to The Onion, and is a Lead Producer for comedy's fastest growing comedy brand Don't Tell Comedy. His stand-up has been featured in SF Sketchfest, FEST in Gainesville and SF Comic Con.

Jamie Bliss writes ad copy by day and performs by night; she has gotten to do stand-up and tell stories at fun places like The Comedy Store, Laugh Factory, and Zanies. She also dabbles in what the kids call Content Creation on TikTok. Jamie’s passions lie in writing creative nonfiction and sharing her unsolicited opinions about TV shows. She is often unknowingly humming or dancing, and her dream birthday party involves getting mercilessly roasted by her closest friends. She has a penchant for grammar and senior pet adoption. She asks lots of questions.

Based out of Los Angeles, California, Noah has been giving SoCal audiences a taste of his loveable anxiety for over 6 years. Comedy is a break from the chaos of life for him, and he wants his act to feel the same for you! He has performed at colleges all across the U.S. and appeared at The Riot Comedy Festival, Funlap Comedy Festival, and SnoJam Comedy Fest. He has two specials out on YouTube, one full hour and a short set with Don’t Tell Comedy.

A legend in the San Deigo comedy scene, Duante Cordova made the move to Los Angeles a couple years ago and quickly became a Lowe Brau favorite. Unique and hilarious - he's a welcome addition to any show he's on and we're happy to have him on ours.

This could be you; laughing your ass off on a beautiful Thursday night.
