About this event

Hello CIP/ECO Utility Staff and Interested Stakeholders,

Please join us at our next Low-Income Conservation Improvement Program (CIP) / Energy Conservation and Optimization (ECO) workshop on Thursday, March 30th from 2-3:30 pm. This series is hosted by the Minnesota Department of Commerce in conjunction with Fresh Energy, National Housing Trust, Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (MEEA), and National Resources Defense Council (NRDC). The series is focused on providing a forum for:

  • stakeholders to learn about CIP/ECO.
  • stakeholders to contribute meaningful comments regarding programs serving under-resourced/low-income customers in advance of investor-owned utility 2024-2026 triennial plan filings (due on June 1, 2023).
  • all utility staff and stakeholders to provide feedback on content and design they envision would be helpful for an on-going CIP/ECO Low-Income Advisory Committee/Workgroup.

This third meeting will offer primers on fuel-switching, financial incentive structures and preweatherization measures.
