Are you familiar with low impact development but want to learn more?  Are you interested in implementing LID in your project plans, but unsure about regulatory requirements? </p><p></p><p>Join UF/IFAS Extension and Osceola County for a free one-day symposium on low impact development (LID) principles and implementation. LID is a design approach to manage stormwater runoff. When used effectively, rain gardens, bioswales, pervious pavement and other LID methods can often improve nutrient removal, use a smaller footprint, and provide additional benefits when compared to a traditional stormwater pond system.</p><p></p><p>This free symposium will start with a technical introduction to the theory and background of LID by University of Florida faculty, Dr. Eban Bean.
