Amy Holland Crafton works mainly in oils capturing the evolving beauty in our world: grown food, wildflowers, landscapes, and seascapes from places she loves from her home here on the beautiful North Shore of MA, and back in the south of England where she grew up. She is also intrigued by the line and form of boats, buildings and street scenes - a more structured study and a departure from the sweeping brushstrokes of land and seascapes. Whatever the subject, she is inspired by her surroundings and places she calls home - taking endless photographs, studying color and light, and embracing the seasonal shifts.
10% of all proceeds from this show will be donated to Change is Simple. Their organization is dedicated to instilling social and environmental responsibility through hands-on climate change education that motivates meaningful action.
