Have you ever been in a shop, trying something on, and had a perfect stranger strike up a conversation? Women say the darnedest things while shopping! ”Gingy's", the newest vintage pop up shop in town, is having a "soft opening,"and you are invited! South City Theatre’s version of Love, Loss and What I Wore by Nora and Delia Ephron takes place in this setting.

The play is a series of monologues and ensemble pieces about women, clothes and memory covering all the important subjects—mothers, prom dresses, mothers, buying bras, mothers, hating purses and why we only wear black.

Based on the bestselling book by Ilene Beckerman, this award-winning production features some of the area’s brightest talents: Donna Williamson, Lisa Ponder, Robin Rushing, Lori Mercer, Dianne Rowe, Jennifer Speigelman and Kristy Meanor, under the direction of South City’s former Artistic Director Sue Ellen Gerrells.

The lobby opens at 6:00 PM for cocktails. Open seating will begin at 6:30 PM, and the play will start at 7:30 PM
