AN ENDURING TRADITION OF EXCELLENCEFor a century the Arts Club of Washington has promoted and celebrated the visual, performing, and literary arts in the nation’s capital. Gatherings for members, exhibits and performances for the public, and a range of private events are held in the club’s historic I Street mansion, which was formerly the home of President James Monroe. Arts Club members come from a wide range of artistic disciplines and professional backgrounds, joined by their shared enjoyment and appreciation of the arts.

Celebrate the holidays with Love Itself a concert featuring award-winning pianist James Hillis and gifted young mezzo-soprano Lily Kern. This exciting event in support of the artistic programing of the Arts Club also includes a pre-performance cocktail, a silent auction of treasures from the club’s collection, and a holiday reception with the artists after the concert.The Arts Club of Washington, the oldest art organization in DC, over a century old, promotes and celebrates the visual, performing, and literary arts in the nation’s capital. The club’s historic I Street mansion was formerly the home of President James Monroe.
