About this event

    The Loudoun Community Breakfast

Life can be stressful – you can say that again! We are all dealing with CHANGE and a new normal. This event gives you an opportunity to meet with old friends and meet new friends. We all have stories to tell and we long for Community. Please join us!

This breakfast is free, informative, and provides a fun yet meaningful setting to get to know others in your Loudoun County community. Networking is a mild part of the morning and not the primary focus. The focus is to connect with the many stories you’ll discover about the men and women who live, work, and play in our Community.

The event begins with coffee and a little networking, then is followed by breakfast. We will provide a few questions that will charge up the table discussion.

Then you will hear from our guest speakers: Rod Williams

Rod and his wife, Dazz have been residents of Loudoun County for nearly 30 years and both have a keen interest in serving and building communities. Their two adult children, Elijah and Brandon are both serving their respective communities in Health Care and Law Enforcement. Except for a short period of time, Rod’s career has focused entirely on Heath Care, receiving his Bachelors Degree in Management from Clark College, and continuing on to achieve his Masters in Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh.

Born and raised in Prichard, Alabama, Rod enjoyed football and received strong looks and offers from a number of colleges and universities.

Rod’s health care career blossomed and expanded over 20 years developing health care programs and services in Loudoun with 6 of those years as Vice President of the system. After his time in Loudoun, Rod was named President of University Health in Shreveport, Louisiana, a 400 bed Level 1 Trauma center as part of LSU Health Science Center.

Rod and his Family returned to Loudoun County whereby he cataloged his years of experiences and has launch his latest health care engagement in Leesburg, while receiving national and regional accolades for his work in Addiction and Mental Health services.

Embedded in these accolades and accomplishments are a series of scheduled trials and enduring hardships which has created a personal propensity to dig deeper, work tirelessly toward positively impacting lives of those he encounters, and work endlessly to develop the next-level leaders to propel lives forward.

Football, School, Fantastic Marriage, 2 wonderful children, professional career and many friends – what could go wrong – sounds like a storybook life. Growing up in Alabama, playing football, dealing with many struggles - You will want to hear his story and hear about where he is now and how he got there – Come hear the REST of the STORY! Invite a friend.
