LAUREL SNYDERis a dance artist, educator and musician based in NYC. Since receiving her BFA in Dance from NYU Tisch School of the Arts in 2009, Laurel has performed with artists such as Faye Driscoll, Tere O’Connor, Tatyana Tenenbaum and Kendra Portier at NYC venues including BAM, the Chocolate Factory, Danspace Project, and the Kitchen. Laurel’s choreography has been presented most recently by NYC venues Triskelion Arts, Center for Performance Research (CPR), Chez Bushwick, Movement Research at Judson Church and the Tank.  Laurel is passionate about teaching movement and vocal practices. In addition to her current position as an adjunct professor at Rutgers University, she has been invited by local and international organizations such as Colby College, Dancewave, Leviathan Studios (BC), Gibney Dance and Dance Exchange as a guest teaching artist. Laurel has also acted as a vocal consultant for choreographers Nadia Tykulsker and Ivy Baldwin.www.laurelsnyderdance.comEMMAMEREDITH JUDKINSis a freelance dancer and performer based in Brooklyn, NY.Hailed by The New York Times as "terrific," and having "a natural, winning clarity," she is currently dancing and makingwith Tere O'Connor, Pavel Zustiak/Palissimo, Anna Sperber, Amber Sloan, Laurel Snyder and The Space We Make. Past artistic and performing collaborations include Kendra Portier/BANDPortier, Phantom Limb Company, and Kyle Abraham/Abraham.In.Motion.www.emmajudkins.comADAM SCHATZwrites and performs much of his music publicly with his band Landlady, as well as in solo formation as Mrs. Adam Schatz and leading his new improvising and song big band Civil Engineering. <H3>LOOP is a new experiment in collaboration across artistic mediums and sensibilities. It posits performance as an ever-evolving, collaborative means for growth, change, and learning that involves both the audience and performers in its process. </H3>
<H3>Creators Laurel Snyder, Emma Judkins and Adam Schatz are uncovering new ways of working, using everything from synths, samplers, saxophone, dance and the acoustic voice. They are devising various, cyclical physical and musical scores that invite both known and unknown material to be unearthed live.  Each performance is special and unique and you are invited to be a part of it! </H3>
