Clean Lakes Alliance is a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization dedicated to the improvement and protection of the lakes, streams, and wetlands in the Yahara River Watershed. Through community support, advocacy, and education, we are working to restore and protect our lakes.

Ride your bike around Lake Monona with friends and family and support clean, healthy water! Loop the Lake is Clean Lakes Alliance's annual bike ride that highlights our community’s lakes and lakeshore bike paths. Loop the Lake is a ride, not a race, so everyone is welcome to enjoy the fun! Event proceeds support our work to protect and improve our lakes in the Yahara Watershed.
Loop the Lake is not just a bike ride - it's a community day to rally around our lakes!
<H3>About the Ride</H3>
Participants will ride along the scenic Lake Loop route through Madison and Monona. Riders will travel 12 miles clockwise around Lake Monona, starting and ending at Olbrich Park. The route features four fun stops with water and treats.
Most recreational bikers will finish in about 1 hour and 15 minutes. The course will remain open until 2 p.m.
<H3>Registration</H3>
Registration is $35 per rider or FREE for riders ages 10 and under. Each rider will receive an event t-shirt, a picnic lunch and a beverage (beer available for ages 21 and up).
Your registration supports ongoing lake improvement projects, water quality monitoring, and educational programming. 
Unfortunately, we will be unable to refund tickets sales in the event of a cancellation due to weather.
Online registration closes Wednesday, June 12th.
<H3>Build a Team</H3>
Biking is better with friends! Teams of 10 or more people will be entered into a raffle to win $1,000 in Lands' End gift cards. When you register, click "Team" and type in your team name or create a new one.
<H3>Early Packet Pick Up at The Biergarten </H3>
Beat the lines and pick up your t-shirt and ride materials on Friday, June 14th at Olbrich Park! We'll be stationed just outside of The Biergarten at Olbrich Park from 4 - 7 p.m.. After you get your packet, head into The Biergarten for a drink - 15% of all drink sales from the evening will be donated to Clean Lakes Alliance!

<H3>FAQs</H3>
When can I check-in or pick up my bag? Participant check-in and registration the day of the event will begin at 9 a.m. at Olbrich Park. There will also be an early packet pick up on Friday, June 14th at Olbrich Park.
What is the refund policy?  Registrations are transferrable and non-refundable. Thank you in advance for your donation to support our lakes!
