2026 Lookout Mountain Event

A full day spent traversing one of golf's most scenic venues and one of Seth Raynor's boldest designs

Certain experiences just don't seem realistic. Like golf on top of a mountain. But Lookout Mountain defies the odds. With world-class architecture in a sublime setting, Lookout Mountain more than lives up to the hype. Our day at Lookout Mountain includes 36 holes of golf, all your meals for the day, drinks, tee gifts, prizes, and as much world-class golf as you can handle. Plus, our event is in the days leading up to the club's Member-Guest, so you know the conditions will be right.

Format

Our event at Lookout Mountain will be an 18-hole best ball competition followed by free play in the afternoon. Everyone will have an assigned hole for the second round of play and can play as much or as little as they'd like in the afternoon. Please note that the competition element at Fried Egg Golf Events is as serious as you'd like to make it. As long as you play quickly, we encourage you to try and play your best round if you'd like. If you just want to experience the great architecture and see the holes, you're welcome to take in the sights.

Lookout Mountain Club

Lookout Mountain Club - Seth Raynor's mountain oasis is a scene that must be experienced to be believed. Set on Lookout Mountain just south and west of Chattanooga, Tennessee, the Lookout Mountain Club is as scenic a test of golf as you can find without an ocean. At times you can see many miles in all directions while navigating Raynor's iconic architecture. Recently, Tyler Rae and Kyle Franz were brought in to restore the course to its full glory. Three years post renovation, the architecture has grown in completely and its brilliance is on full display.

Chattanooga Golf & Country Club - Organized tee times available on Tuesday, May 19 for $250/player. Tee times begin at 9:00 a.m.

Around Lookout Mountain

Minor League Baseball - Nothing gets the people going like a good MILB game. The Chattanooga Lookouts are home for a home stand with the Pensacola Blue Wahoos on Saturday and Sunday night. Get your tickets on their website.

Hiking - The area surrounding Chattanooga is gorgeous and full of outdoor opportunities. Check out the local map and chart your routes.

Travel Information

• Airports - Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport (CHA) is your most direct option but can be expensive depending on where you are traveling from. If you want to save a little money, check out Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and Nashville International Airport (BNA). Both are about two hours from Chattanooga.
• Hotels - There are no shortage of affordable lodging options in Chattanooga. Past event participants have recommended the Moxy Hotel and Hotel Indigo, both are no more than 20 minutes from Lookout Mountain Club and are in downtown. You can also have a more premium stay at the Westin. Chattanooga and the surrounding area is also a great place for unique Airbnb's and VRBO rentals.
