Looking Inward
Join docent June Heintz for guided mindfulness practices followed by slow looking with an artwork on view.
On average, people spend less than 30 seconds viewing a work of art. The Looking Inwardprogram uses slow looking — an observation style gaining traction in museums around the world that aims to change this through intentionally observing art. Rooted in a meditative approach, Looking Inward encourages participants to slow down, look closely, connect, and share insights together.
Upcoming Sessions: Sunday 11 AM–12 PM
Programs taking place in the same month will feature the same artwork.
- Oct. 12 or Oct. 19
- Nov. 9 or Nov. 16
- Dec. 7 or Dec. 14
