Can I buy tickets onsite?

Yes, you can buy tickets on our website or at the door. Ticket pick-up & on-site sales are in the Lobby!

Question 2

When is the Cosplay Contest being held?

The Costume Contest will begin at 5:00 pm on Saturday. No flash photography of the show is allowed. Any photos or video that was taken must be for personal, non-profit use only!

Question 3

I want to participate in the Cosplay Contest, what are the categories?

Accepted Answer

All costumes must be hand-made and are subject to inspection by our panel of judges.

Prizes will be awarded in several categories:
Best in Show,
Best Hero,
Best Villain,
Best Youth (kids 12 and under),
Funniest,
Best TV/MovieBest Sci-Fi,
Best Space Theme,
Best Engineering

Question 4

Where do I pick up my wristband? What about pre-registration?

Accepted Answer

There will be a clearly-marked booth in the Lobby of the Convention Center for walk-ins. Pre-registrants will take their barcode scan copies or use their smartphones at the Advance Ticket Registration Area.

Question 5

I purchased my Long Beach Comic Con ticket in advance but never received an e-mail confirmation.

Accepted Answer

The e-mail is sent from Eventbrite, not LBCC, so search your inbox for an e-mail from Eventbrite. The PDF tickets will be attached. If you still can’t locate your tickets, the e-mail address entered may be incorrect.

Question 6

Where can I park and how do I get there?

Accepted Answer

Directions are available on the Long Beach Convention Center website: www.longbeachcc.com or use 300 E. Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90802 in your GPS for directions. Parking is $15 cash per day.

Question 7

Do you have a prop weapons check area?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and we take public safety very seriously. Be prepared to prove to the LBPD officers protecting us that your prop is fake. If you cannot do so, they will confiscate it or make you bring it to your vehicle. Plan ahead for a great experience!
