The course focuses on several core skills that are the building blocks for high performance shooting. These skills will be defined, demonstrated, and practiced using objective benchmarks. Adult learning principles, individual attention, and friendly competition will help to cement the concepts covered. Utilizing the safe mindset and pistol skills from previous coursework, students will continue to develop their core skills while applying them to increasingly complex situations. Movement and cover are gradually integrated in a manner that allows for understanding and application of concepts. By the end of the course, students will be shooting and moving in and around vehicles, as well as other novel cover and positions. This can be a physically and mentally demanding course.
