Why/Learning Goals

- Understanding of different types of locks and their security

Requirements:

-Attendees must be 18+ years old to participate in workshop

-Attendees must sign a waiver before participating in workshop

Workshop will cover the following:

• Learn different types of locks
• Learn Applications for certain types of locks
• Learn different uses for picks
• Learn how to pick
• How do locks work?
• How do we decide what locks to use? How did the designs change over time and how did it relate to making things more or less secure?
• How do we apply locks to create a sense of security?

Bio: Javier is an intermediate-level locksport enthusiast who has a collection of over 20 locks. His interests are locksport, building tables, and doing murals with Cassa Jam.
