LocalREADS is a community-wide book group that provides an opportunity for readers to discuss books with themes that are complementary to Local Theater Company&#x27;s world premiere productions. Participating in LocalREADS is easy: purchase a copy of Robin DiAngelo&#x27;s book WHITE FRAGILITY at 10% off from Boulder Book Store (or nab it from one of our area public libraries), read it, and then join in on a free discussion at the Dairy Arts Center. About Local Theater Company: Local Theater Company - World Premieres Only. Local discovers, develops, and produces new American plays of exceptional quality. Local engages audiences through innovative performances that spark camaraderie, learning, and contemplation, and provides a resourceful environment for artists to take risks and develop new work that expresses the full spectrum of the American experience. In addition to two world premiere productions each season, Local presents Local Lab, Boulder&#x27;s premier 3-day festival of new plays (March 13-15, 2020). Each season, Local gathers the most innovative theater makers from across the United States to present world-class world premieres in Boulder. About Boulder Book Store: Boulder Book Store is Boulder’s largest independent bookstore with 20,000 sq. feet, more than 100,000 titles, and three floors. We host more than 200 events in the store and in the community every year. Boulder Book Store has been named &quot;Bookstore of the Year &quot; by Publishers Weekly in 2018, and “Best of Boulder” by local papers every year since 1987. As a founding member of the Boulder Independent Business Alliance (one of the first of its kind in the country), David Bolduc, owner of the Boulder Book Store, has been at the forefront of the “shop local” movement for over a decade.
