About the Chef:

Chef Llewellyn, born in Jamaica and grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, a former Ball State University student-athlete who won a MAC Championship in 1996, is a local and nationally recognized educational leader who has taken his love for the cuisine of his homeland and brought it to the Fishers Test Kitchen. His journey is a testament to his commitment to honoring Jesus Christ in all his endeavors. His vision for Scotchy Jamaican Grill was born out of obedience and an unwavering belief in Jesus Christ, and it's a tribute to his mother's legacy and their shared love for cooking Jamaican cuisine.

"Scotchy is an extension of me growing up watching my mom share her love through cooking at our family restaurant in the mid-80s in Clarendon, Jamaica. She was loved for her food and respected for how she made everyone feel." -Chef Llewellyn.

Marlon Llewellyn is committed to sharing Jamaica's cuisine across the Midwest and the country. He will be joined by his son Bryce Llewellyn, an aspiring chef in his own right. Bryce is a 2022 Cathedral High School graduate in his junior year as a scholarship football student athlete at Eastern Michigan University.
