Lobster Ball 2024

Killing My Lobster (KML) has a vision; a world in which San Francisco is known globally as a center for comedy. For 27 years, KML has collaborated with the best writers, performers, and comedians the Bay Area has to offer, creating exciting original work for local audiences and national outlets.

This year, KML's annual fundraising gala, the Lobster Ball, aims to raise $25,000 to support our mission of creating a thriving local comedy scene and fund our New Voices in Comedy Fellowships and BIPOC Scholarships. These programs ensure access to the KML School of Comedy and increase BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ representation in the Bay Area comedy community.

At The Lobster Ball, guests will enjoy delectable hors d’oeuvres and delicious desserts, the signature Tequila My Lobster cocktail (mocktail option available), hosted wine and beers, live performances, and a short program celebrating KML’s 2024 Season of cutting-edge sketch comedy and the KML School of Comedy which continues to provide a vital entry point to an otherwise exclusive art form.

As guests mingle with actors, writers, and supporters - a group of savvy, smart, and very cool people (after all, they like our comedy!) - they will have the opportunity to participate in a Silent Auction featuring exciting lifestyle and entertainment packages, fine wine and dining opportunities, all to support Killing My Lobster as we bring joy and connection through heehees and hahas.
