LO San Diego | Habitat Restoration & Lighthouse Tour
Join us for a fun day of giving back to the environment and exploring the historic Cabrillo National Monument on Thursday, June 20, 2024. Our group will be meeting at 9:00 AM on the Coastal Trail for introductions and a tutorial on plant identification, removal techniques, and safety guidelines. We will work on the habitat restoration project for 2 hours and then take a lunch break. After the lunch break our group will walk to the Old Point Loma Lighthouse for an exclusive Ranger-led tour including the tower!
*Snacks and lunch will be provided.
*This event is suitable for ages 12 and up. Youth volunteers must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Únase a nosotros para pasar un día divertido retribuyendo el medio ambiente y explorando el histórico Monumento Nacional Cabrillo el Jueves 20 de junio de 2024. Nuestro grupo se reunirá a las 9:00 a. m. en el sendero costero para recibir presentaciones y recibir un tutorial sobre identificación de plantas, técnicas de eliminación y pautas de seguridad. Trabajaremos en el proyecto de restauración del hábitat durante 2 horas y luego tomaremos un descanso para almorzar. Después de la pausa para el almuerzo, nuestro grupo caminará hasta el faro Old Point Loma para realizar un recorrido exclusivo dirigido por guardabosques que incluye la torre.
*Se proporcionarán alimentos ligeros y almuerzo.
