LKLD Indie Bash Three is on Saturday June 1st at Union Hall in Lakeland, FL from 11 am onward! Music starts at noon.
What is LKLD Indie Bash? It is a celebration of artists from Lakeland's local music scene over the last twenty years. What better way to do it than with two stages and TWENTY musical acts, all inside Union Hall!The majority of the acts performing are based out of Lakeland and nearby Polk County. These are all original artists.
Amazing talents such as Cruel Curses, Mr. Handsome, Love Pit, Cult Fashion, Cogency, Hoss, Halation, No. 9, Ambiguity, Attique Space, Teej, These Times, Aboveonlyspace, Between Jobs, DellShavon, Bad Sci-Fi, Walking Owl, Ani & The Fly Boys, and Sheldon Benjamin.
This festival pays tribute to all of the venues in Lakeland that have at one time or another hosted original music, past and present. Venues such as Lillian's, The Mad Hatter, Winner's Circle, Mojo's Wings Burgers and Beer, Evolution Records, The Poor Porker, Fresco's Underground, Preservation Hall, Tony's Studio B, Krap Art Studios, DC's Sports Bar, Polk Theater, LkldLive, The Yard On Mass, Art/Fact, Swan Brewing, The Pink Piano, Hillcrest Coffee, Quinteassence Kava Bar, and so many more venues. If you ever went to a local show at any of these venues in the last two decades, then you should consider coming out to LKLD Indie Bash Three at Union Hall and maybe run into some old friends!
LKLD Indie Bash Three is made up of musicians who have performed at every music venue in Lakeland that has supported original music based out of Lakeland and Polk County. For Union Hall, it is with great pride that we are afforded the opportunity to continue to provide a platform for our local songwriters, artists, and bands to perform their music.
