About New Community Vision

NCV is a 501(c)(3) with the goal to acquire and positively influence the destiny of what is arguably our County’s last, large-scale and highly visible stretch of pristine lakeshore and bucolic open space by engaging in a fresh planning process for the community and by the community.

A board and advisory group of community and partner representatives has been formed to facilitate the purchase of the prominent lakeshore property commonly known as Timber Shores, located between Omena and Northport on M22, from the current owner who has signed an option agreement to that effect, offering a select window of opportunity. NCV is committed to facilitating an avenue for fresh, collaborative, community -driven thinking related to the future development of this legacy parcel.
