About this event

Welcome to Living With, Coming Together: An Event to Celebrate U! Join us at the Como Park Pavilion for a day of community, connection, and celebration. This event is all about celebrating Rainbow Health's clients and community living with HIV/AIDS. There will be fun family-friendly activities, food, storytelling, and festivities. This is a free event, and you should come prepared to party! We invite you to come engage in community, tell your story, and celebrate yourself.

Drawing inspiration from the red ribbon—the universal symbol of awareness and support for people living with HIV—the theme of the event is red roses. You'll see roses galore at this event, and you're encouraged to dress to fit the theme! Whatever you have that gives red, rose, floral, fierce - show up and show out!

While this event is specifically to celebrate those living with HIV/AIDS, we encourage all members of the Rainbow Health community to attend in celebration.

CALLING ALL CLIENT FASHIONISTAS: If you are a Rainbow Health client interested in signing up to WALK THE RUNWAY in your best on-theme outfit (red, florals, roses), contact Albé Sanchez at albe.sanchez@rainbowhealth.org.

To assist in creating an accessible event for everyone, we are happy to share that Metro Transit will provide free ride passes for folks to attend via transit. In addition, a travel fund is available for Rainbow Health clients who would like to attend the event but live an hour or more away from the Twin Cities. For questions about Metro Transit passes or securing travel funding, contact Raquel Sidie-Wagner at raquel.sidie-wagner@rainbowhealth.org.

If you are interested in VOLUNTEERING to help us run this event, contact Jack Grimes at jack.grimes@rainbowhealth.org.
