After years of working as an Occupational therapist (OT) in all settings, from pediatrics to geriatrics, over and over and over again Emmy has witnessed the lack of tools and resources our healthcare systems have failed to provide us with to promote wellbeing and AVOID a variety of dis-eases. Did you know that over 80% of cardiology visits are stress induced or preventable ?!! What would life look like if we all had tools to manage stress, and or the awareness and desire to live mindfully ?
This once a month workshop will be an opportunity for women to come together, have guided discussions, learn some practical tools and walk away feeling recharged after an immersive experience from sound healing, to yoga, to meditation, and more.
Led by a holistic occupational therapist, with a passion to provide the community with tools to living mindfully, in collaboration with other holistic clinicians ..
From mindful living, balancing life, manifesting, managing anxiety and stress, developing coping skills, navigating burnout, and more …
This is an offering that will support you on taking this self care practice off your mat, and into your life!
Attendees will have the opportunity to show purchase some delicious food at @littlecoffeeshoppe in Pompano, and connect with others in the community during our social time that starts at 6:30PM. Kitchen Closes at 7PM .
Workshop starts at 7-7:45, followed by a guided meditation and sound-bath. Event ends at 8:30pm
Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, journal and pen.
