About this event

  • 21 hours

We all experience conflict. It may be in our homes, with other family members, at work, in our neighborhoods, or even at church. Too often, even Christians respond to conflict in ways that prolong the dispute and increase the hurt. The Bible, however, offers us distinctively effective ways to respond to conflict in a manner that glorifies God and reduces the negative effects of disagreements.

Living at Peace is a weekend workshop designed to help all of us to better resolve conflict by applying biblical principles as well as effective skills for communication and conflict resolution. Hosted by Certified Christian Conciliators David & Judi Glidden, it will be presented at Winslow Baptist Church on a Friday evening, June 7, and Saturday morning and afternoon, June 8.

Rich in biblical references, best practices, and good interaction, the workshop also includes videos from Peacemaker Ministries as well as short clips from feature films.

Jesus promised us that “blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.” The Living at Peace workshop is a great opportunity for each of us to grow as reconcilers, and to grow our Christian witness. We hope that you will be able to join us on Friday evening, June 7 and on Saturday, June 8.
