Cal Poly Alumni Engagement and Career Services are pleased to present the return of the Living and Working In series — a quarterly collection of virtual networking events for Cal Poly students and alumni!
Join us on Wednesday, May 14, at 11 a.m. PDT, where we will focus on the Pacific Northwest, including Seattle, WA, Portland, OR and Boise, ID.
Whether you're an alum who wants to share what it's like to live and work in these metropolitan areas, a student considering a move to the area after graduation or for internships, or you're just curious and want to learn more about living and working in the Pacific Northwest — all are welcome!
We look forward to talking to alumni already living in the area to help us answer student questions and fill in the blanks of what it's like to build a career in Seattle, Portland or Boise.
Highlights of the event will include:
- An introduction to the Seattle area from the Cal Poly Alumni — Seattle Community
- An overview of the job market in Seattle, Portland and Boise from Career Services
- An alumni panel featuring alumni leaders from various industries
- An opportunity to engage in networking with fellow students and alumni

Registration closes at 9 a.m. PDT on Wednesday, May 14. The Zoom link and password will be sent out via email to all registrants one hour before the event.
