About this event

Join Colleen Avis and Gretchen Robbins, founders of WalkWith, for a virtual mindful walk just for 8-Week Walking Challenge participants. Using Zoom and our cell phones, Gretchen and Colleen will guide us on a peaceful walk we can each do wherever we are. They will share inspiring words, guide us through stretches, and lead us in breath work and guided meditation while we walk. We will also have the chance to connect with each other and our walk leaders before and after the walk. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to share a meaningful experience together as we pass the midpoint of our challenge.

To join this walk, you will need a cell phone, a pair of headphones, and the Zoom app. To participate, simply turn off your cell phone’s WiFi (Android instructions, iPhone instructions) open the Zoom link on your phone, and connect a pair of headphones so you can follow along. We will all be walking outside, wherever we are, to experience mindfulness in nature as a group. If you need technical help during the walk, the WalkArlington team will be on hand to help you troubleshoot. We recommend making sure everything is working on your phone before the start of the event.
