Told through the past and present, M is for Medusa explores the questions of how does society silence a Black woman, and how does trauma transform through generations through the Greek mythology of Medusa.

About Amplify

Amplify, Definition Theatre's new play commissioning program, was developed to empower and uplift underrepresented theatre creatives. Amplify is back with Series Four featuring the development of eight new finalist’s pieces. Winners of Amplify then receive a two-year development process with Definition to further develop their work.

Join us for the third annual 2024 Amplify New Play Festival to celebrate the work of eight emerging playwrights. This festival includes screenings of Amplify Series Four, live Amplify Series Three winner readings, artist workshops, and more.
