Pentimenti, in partnership with Vox Populi, invites you to a special public program featuring a collaborative performance by Vox Populi artists. The event reflects on the collective process behind the shared painting project, offering audiences an immersive experience of artistic creation in real time.
The performance will feature a collage of found audio, live readings of reflections written during the project, and projected real-time drawing, allowing visitors to witness the work as it unfolds.
Following the performance, Blanche Brown, Executive Director of Vox Populi, and Christine Pfister, Director of Pentimenti, will join a panel discussion on Philadelphia’s arts ecosystem—from artist-run spaces to commercial galleries—and how these infrastructures support and sustain creative communities. The conversation will be moderated by Emily Bielawski.
Light refreshments will be served.
