Steve & Nicole Orders are part of a five-piece indie rock band based in Montgomery County, Maryland. When the full band isn’t performing, they play as a duo and bring their infectious musical chemistry to every performance. Armed with an acoustic guitar, electric bass, and strong vocal harmonies, they play a mix of modern covers and catchy original tunes.
Born out of the unique circumstances of the pandemic, their band, “Stringtown,” began as a group of close-knit friends who formed a musical “bubble” and jammed together every weekend to stay connected and creative. What started as a way to pass the time quickly evolved into something much bigger—an electrifying project with a growing local following. Stringtown has made a name for themselves playing stages all across the DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia), and has released four original songs available on music streaming platforms.
